Linda Baker
Secretary & Board Member (Officer), Community Volunteer & Veterans Advocate

Linda Baker is a dedicated community volunteer and experienced administrative professional. A 1970 graduate of Somers High School, she completed business coursework and helped manage the school’s main-office computer system. Over her career, she worked in multiple business offices, including 28 years in the automotive industry, where she advanced to Warranty Administrator and earned BMW Gold and Silver Awards of Excellence. She trained new service-office employees and managed departmental operations with precision and professionalism.

Linda has a long record of community service, including CERT membership in Connecticut and Florida, where she helped organize emergency shelters during the October snowstorm and instructed new CERT volunteers. She also coordinated a Stop the Bleed class for her Florida community. Linda volunteers alongside her husband for the VFW, Honor Flight CT, and the Somers Department of Veterans Affairs, where she is a valued contributor to projects, campaigns, and advocacy for veterans’ benefits and legislation.
