Veteran Support Services
Every veteran carries memories that most neighbors will never see. Our Veteran Support Services create a quiet, steady place to set some of that weight down and not be judged for it. We offer no-cost counseling connections with trusted mental health professionals who understand military culture and the strain of transition, grief, and trauma.
Alongside counseling, our peer support groups feel a lot like a squad room after hours: coffee, plain talk, and people who have "been there" listening more than they speak. These small, facilitated gatherings help cut through isolation and remind veterans they are not alone in North Central Connecticut.
When a night feels too long or a crisis hits, our crisis intervention pathways help families and fellow veterans know what to do next. We guide you toward hotlines, local clinicians, and immediate resources, and we stay alongside you while a plan comes together. Whether you need a quiet conversation, a room full of peers, or urgent guidance, we stand ready to walk those steps with you, one phone call at a time.
